This Short Term Substitute position will begin on or before April 21, 2025 and continue through the end of the school year in June 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate active learning while using relevant pedagogical practices and instructional technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Provide opportunities to stretch and grow students while providing approprate , particularly for students with special education needs and/or English Language Learners (ELLs).
• Observe and evaluate student performance outcomes; monitor the progress of students’ academic growth and development for the purposes of improving professional practice.
• Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, assignments, and projects; provide appropriate and timely feedback.
• Contribute to content-based, cross discipline, and/or student-based teams as a collaborative team member.

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Math 7-12 or Mid-Level Math 7-9
• Bachelor's degree and willingness to pursue proper certification through PA Department of Education
• Prior experience preferred
