Aides are typically hired initially as a substitute with no guarantee of hours.  When/if moved to a permanent position, aides have a guarantee of 4 hours a day with the potential for more hours as seniority increases.

AM shift typically starts at 6:30 AM.  PM shift typically ends by 4:30 PM

• Assist bus drivers transporting students, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be able to assist with the special needs (physical and emotional) of elementary and secondary students
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

 Salary:

• Salary in compliance with the Teamsters, Local 312 Bus Aides’ Bargaining Agreement
