Under the supervision of the Principal, the successful candidate works to plan, prepare, and deliver instruction to students as a whole group while differentiating for the needs of the individual.  A teacher who is kind, compassionate, energetic, and enthusiastic will find Wallingford-Swarthmore to be a great professional haven.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate active learning while using relevant pedagogical practices and instructional technology to support and differentiate instruction, particularly for students with special education needs and/or English Language Learners (ELLs).

• Observe and evaluate student performance outcomes; monitor the progress of students’ academic growth and development for the purposes of improving professional practice.

  Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, assignments, and projects; provide appropriate and timely feedback. 

Qualifications:

• Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Spanish K-12 certification 
• Bachelor's degree, fluent in Spanish, and willingness to pursue proper certification through PA Department of Education
• Prior experience preferred
