This extended-term position begins in August of 2024 (with possibilty of ESY position for the month of July) and is scheduled to conclude in late November 2024

Under the supervision of the Principal, the successful candidate works to plan, prepare, and deliver instruction to students as a whole group while differentiating for the needs of the individual.  A teacher who is kind, compassionate, energetic, and enthusiastic will find Wallingford-Swarthmore to be a great professional haven.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement speech and language instructional program for individuals and groups in sixth through eighth grades as assigned.
• Consultation with regular education and special education teachers.
• Case management of identified students with speech and language impairments.

• Contribute to content-based, cross-discipline, and/or student-based teams as a collaborative team member

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Certification Special Education - Speech and Language Disabilities PK-12 
• Prior experience preferred
• Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
