INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT

10 Month Position

Responsibilities:

• Safely supervise students in classroom, lunchroom, after school/before school and hall settings
• Assist teachers in the education of students who have social, physical, behavioral or mental challenges and to follow objectives as indicated in the Individual Education Plan
• Provide academic support for students
• Provide clerical support and other assistance to teachers

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Associates Degree
• Ability to work effectively in special education classroom
• Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, parents and students
• Prior experience preferred
